My wife and I both went to Lion’s Den to learn the basics of TIG welding, Dan was a wonderful teacher. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. I would love to do it again. TIG welding  is completely outside of what we do in our day-to-day as printmakers but sometimes. Sometimes, you have to step out of the comfort zone and when you have a great teacher supporting you in that  process it makes the learning all the more fun. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who is interested in working with metal.

Well structured workshop that takes you from the fundamental skills required to completing a strong weld. Dan, the owner and instructor, explains, demonstrates, and encourages you throughout.

We left with a good understanding of both the theory and practice of Tig Welding, with an appetite for a 1:1 workshop.

An excellent introduction to TIG welding by someone who clearly knows what they are talking about and wants to pass on their knowledge to others. Now I know what I don’t know and have a good idea about where to take this in future . Dan was careful to find out why everyone on the course wanted to learn to weld and tailored the session accordingly.

I had zero experience in welding before the class. Dan is great teacher in explaining the little details in TIG welding which can make a big difference in the quality of the weld. He also gave us constructive feedback on our technique and personal advice for our side projects.

Overall it was great introduction to TIG welding. I would highly recommend to beginners.

Very good short concise practical introduction to tig welding. I was lucky as there were only two of us attending on the day, so we had plenty of time to ask questions. This course leaves you in a strong position to be able to practice tig welding under your own steam.
